MERG Knowledgebase

MERG has a vast amount of information and knowledge available to its members.

This information covers every aspect of using electronics, computers and technology with model railways.

Much of this knowledge is held on this website, in our knowledgbase, an area of the website using wiki technology that allows all members to contribute and hence is constantly growing - exploring new technologies and their applications to model railway layouts.

The knowledgebase now has well over a 1000 pages. These include information on building and using all our kits, on many members' projects and layouts, on the activities of our area groups and special interest groups and libraries for PCB designs and CAD files for 3D printing etc. etc.

There is also a large area for MERG TV providing access to a large collection of videos including records of group zoom meetings, tutorials and courses on kit construction, circuit and pcb design, layout automation, using MERG kits, Arduino and Raspberry Pi projects, etc.
